Renowned fashion designer and the creative force behind Poqua Poqu, Pokua Poku-Mouhtiseb, has tragically passed away.
According to reports, she succumbed to complications during childbirth at Lister Hospital on Wednesday, February 14.
The news of her untimely demise began circulating on social media on Thursday morning, prompting an outpouring of tributes from friends and associates, including New Patriotic Party member Afia Akoto.
Pokua leaves behind her husband, Mr. Mouhtiseb, and three children.
She received her primary education at Martyrs of Uganda R/C JHS before attending Achimota School for her secondary education. Her academic journey continued at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), followed by studies at the University of Hull in England.
