Medikal and Fella Makafui are currently going through a break-up phase, a process that has raised significant concern among a section of Ghanaians.

Medikal explained that this incident was what prompted him to finally speak up about their ongoing divorce.

In the interview on Thursday, May 23, D-Black explained the circumstances, stating that they appear to have been misconstrued, and expressed his desire to be left out of discussions regarding the couple’s divorce.

After discussions on the show, D-Black extended an apology to Medikal, saying, “Big apology for lighting that.” Medikal responded, “I am also sorry for saying F*#k you, obviously.”

Last month, a video circulated on social media showing D-Black lighting a cigar for Fella Makafui, which sparked outrage in her estranged husband, Medikal. Clearly unhappy with the situation, Medikal expressed his sentiments, calling D-Black a fake industry player and emphasizing that he would never do such a thing to D-Black out of respect.

In response, Medikal recorded a diss song titled ‘Just in Case,’ targeting D-Black. However, D-Black has consistently maintained that he has nothing to do with the marital issues of the celebrity couple.

In a series of tweets, D-Black addressed the controversy for the first time, explaining that he did not hand Fella the cigar but only lit it on her request. He clarified that Fella bought the cigar with her own money and approached him to light it up for her. D-Black further dismissed all allegations of being romantically involved with Fella Makafui, adding that he had not seen her in over two years.
