Founding member of the Osibisa band, Sol Amarfio, has died.
The world-class drummer passed on this morning at 84.
Born in 1938, the legend is credited with celebrated tunes such as ‘Woyaya’.
The songwriter worked with other members of the band to compose the most iconic ever-green songs to hit the continent.
Osibisa was founded in the early 1960s by four expatriate West African and three Caribbean musicians in London.
