Reggie Zippy, one half of the X-Factor duo Reggie N Bollie, has revealed his separation from his wife of 15 years, Edith Ward.
The Ghanaian musician, who is based in the UK, shared the news on his social media platforms on Friday, August 18, 2023.
In a detailed post, Reggie announced that he and Edith have chosen to part ways after extensive and difficult deliberation.
“After 15 years of being married to my wife, Edith Ward, we have decided to go our separate ways… This was not an easy decision, but it is one that we have made together after much thought and consideration,” he disclosed.
He emphasized that he and Edith still maintain a strong friendship and will continue to co-parent their three children. He expressed gratitude for the time they spent together and wished Edith “all the best in the future.”
The news of their divorce took their fans by surprise. The couple had been together for over two decades and had been married for 15 years. Their union had brought forth three children – two sons and a daughter.
Their separation adds to a series of celebrity breakups witnessed this year. While the exact reasons behind their decision remain unclear, Reggie Zippy’s social media post indicates that it was a mutual choice.
