Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has been signed by WME to represent her in the Hollywood entertainment industry.
The agency will be in charge of her career in film, television and digital content.
Ms. Markle’s historied career has included time as an advocate, community builder and a globally recognized actress. WME spokesperson said; “We are proud to work with Meghan Markle and look forward to helping her build an enduring and successful career.”
This isn’t Markle’s first foray into the entertainment world. She was featured on the long-running show Suits from 2011 to 2018, co-created and co-produced the lifestyle collection, “The Tig” and was a guest editor for British Vogue magazine.
She has pursued a range of humanitarian projects and is particularly focused on supporting girls, women and communities in need.
Meghan Markle has now taken her career to the next level and signed with WME, the world’s leading entertainment agency, to her in her future endeavors.
WME will now be the agency responsible for handling Markle’s career involving film, television, and digital content.
