“To err is human, to forgive is divine,” they say.

That may be the mantra Big Wiz may be banking his hopes on tonight for a place in his fans’ hearts after leaving them hanging for a grueling 8 hours on the cold night of December 10.

Though the organisers, LiveHub Entertainment have placed the blame at the feet of Wizkid, the Afrobeats artist has rejected this claim of a supposed breach.

Born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, the Essence hitmaker says he was poised to meet the fans at the Accra Sports Stadium except for issues with production and security that were not adequately taken care of.

“Unfortunately, up until the day of this show, there continued to be safety and production issues that prevented me from putting on a high quality show that my fans deserve,” Wizkid told his fans on Twitter.

He further apologized for the situation and promised another show on an unannounced date to compensate for the disappointment.

Instagram Stories, subsequently show Wizkid leaving Accra on a private jet for another show elsewhere.
